Doing These 5 Simple Things After Waking Up Will Make Your Day!

You know the drill: open eyes, get up, move yourself robotically to the bathroom, dress up, and get out. Admit it, this is your morning routine. No wonder you’re not functioning at full capacity. No wonder you’re having a really hard time pulling yourself together just enough to be able to smile to your colleagues. No wonder you complain that you can’t find anything that makes your day better.

Today, Lets try and cultivate these 5 easy practices which is going  to definitely make your day, everyday!

1. Put a Prayer On Your Phone and Listen

A prayer is the most powerful tool and anything which makes your remember God is for your own benefit. Take our word, play your dua recitation (from whichever religion sect one is) and listen to it with eyes closed.
This is going to help you in all ways! Count your blessings and be grateful.

2. Drink a Glass of Water

Simplest of to-do’s, but most overlooked. Drinking a glass or two of water in the mornings (after you’ve brushed your teeth) helps kick start metabolism, flush out toxins, and hydrate the body. Treat it as an investment in your health.

3. Soak Up the Sun/Stretch Your Body

Sun is important. You’ve spent the entire night (including perhaps late evening) inside the house, and under artificial lights. Head outdoors in the morning to experience the warmth of the sun on your body. Your eyes will light up, your skin will glow, and you’ll feel like you’re on top of the world.

Also, Your body acts like it wants more sleep, just the way you do. Stretching can wake those muscles up, get the blood flowing to all parts, and send a signal to your body to wake up and get ready for the day.

4. Thank Someone for Something

Saying “thank you” is underrated. Now, you may have trouble finding a person to say thank you to just after you wake up. I know I did. In these cases, write a “thank you” to your parents/siblings/spouse/kids for just existing, it will make your day and theirs!

If you’re appreciative first thing in the morning, you’re inviting more opportunities into your life.

5. Set tasks for the Day and Incorporate To Do One Good With No Benefit In Return!

Making to do list in your phone, paper or even in mind is very important. It sets you for the day and definitely makes your day productive!

Apart from this, try and do one good deed with no expectation in return, it maybe some minimal charity, helping your parents understand social media or just a smile to a kid. Trust us, these things go a long way!
