In a recent alarming incident, renowned drama writer Khalil ur Rehman was kidnapped after being lured by a fan under the pretext of discussing a potential TV project.
Amna Urooj, a key suspect, admitted to communicating with Khalil for nearly 15 days through messages and exchanging pictures. Their interaction culminated in a late-night meeting at her house, where Khalil was ambushed by seven armed men.
The assailants looted Khalil, seizing 60,000 rupees in cash, an iPhone, and his ATM card. Additionally, 200,000 rupees were withdrawn from his account. Khalil was beaten and released upon ransom.

”I visited her at 4:40 am because my doctor has advised me to avoid sunlight due to health reasons for 5 years”
He also claimed ignorance about the girl being alone at the meeting location. This explanation quickly became fodder for social media, spawning numerous memes.
Police have made significant progress in the case, arresting nine individuals, including four women. The incident has raised concerns about the safety and security of public figures meeting fans and the potential risks involved.
