Disney’s live action Aladdin turns out to be better than expected! Will Smith, Mena Massoud and Naomi Scott make for the perfect star cast!
We have to put it out there, Will Smith as Genie stole the show, he was definitely the best thing about the whole film.
Jasmine’s story features the most important changes to the Aladdin story. In this adaptation, she has a sense of ambition, she’s opinionated and wants to follow in her father’s footsteps to lead her people and become the next Sultan of Agrabah, even if tradition doesn’t allow it.
The most powerful tool of this movie is its songs. Old songs are recreated in a wonderful way, especially ”Whole new world” and “Prince Ali”
The film pretty much sticks to the original, the movie, however, has a few hiccups but it blends to be an overall enjoyable experience.
We rate it, 8/10 and definitely recommend you all to go and watch this magical journey!
