Nazia Hassan was the first Pakistani and till date the youngest recipient of Filmfare award.
At just the age of 15, Nazia received a Filmfare Award for Best Playback singer Female in 1981 for song ‘Aap Jaisa Koi’ from Feroze Khan’s film Qurbaani. She was awarded by the legendary Raj Kapoor.
Follwing the success of this song, Nazia achieved new heights with songs like Disco Deewanay and more. She made Pakistan proud and its true when we say that her legacy still lives on through her work!
